To keep the harvester head from pivoting during roading, install a chain for safety around the harvester head, as shown.Reference: For more information about the chain, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the work tool.

Fully retract the extendable stick. Block up the boom cylinders with 191-9375 Cylinder Stop. Secure the harvester head to the boom with a chain for safety, as shown. Reference: For more information about the chain, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the work tool.Note: Keep the harvester head in the vertical position but tilt the boom so that the harvester head is horizontal to the ground, as shown. Make sure that there is at least 250 mm (9.8 inch) of clearance between the harvester head and the ground. Also, make sure that there is at least 1 m (3 ft) of clearance between the harvester head and the machine.

Install two swing pins in the holes under the front of the cab in order to prevent the cab from rotating during roading. Remember to remove the swing pins before you try to rotate the cab.
Perform a walk-around inspection and measure the fluid levels in the various compartments.Reference: For more information, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Daily Inspection".
Turn off all working lights. Install the roading lights.Reference: For more information, refer to the section on Working Lights of Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls".
Make sure that the steering wheel (if equipped) is installed properly.Reference: For more information, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering Control".
Close the cab door. Secure the hoods and all access doors in the closed position.
Set the traction control system to the automatic mode when you are roading the machine. This will allow the IQAN system to control the traction automatically.
Place the machine in roading mode. Use the proportional steering joystick or the steering wheel (if equipped) to steer the machine.
Travel at a moderate speed. Observe all speed limits when you road the machine.
