Removal Procedure

Remove the screw and knobs (1) .
Remove four screws (2) and cover (3) .

Remove four bolts (4) and latch (5) from the door.Installation Procedure

Install latch (5) and four bolts (4) on the door.

Put cover (3) into position and install four screws (2) .
Install knobs (1) and the screw.
Adjust the cab door latch and the striker. See the following procedure:
Loosen the bolts in the door hinge. Close the door. Check the distance between the edge of the door and the cab. The distance should be 16.0 1.0 mm (0.63 0.04 inch). Tighten the bolts on the door hinges after the door has been adjusted.

Close the door. Adjust striker (7) in order to keep the door from moving up or down. Check for contact between the striker and the rotors. There must not be contact between these surfaces. Add or remove shims (8), as required.
Check the primary latch position. Check the secondary latch position. The primary latch position means that the door is fully closed and the latch is fully engaged. The secondary latch position means that the door is not fully closed and the latch is fully engaged. If the door cannot be fully closed, loosen the striker and adjust the striker outward until the door can be closed to the primary latch position. Tighten the striker.

Check the adjustment of the striker. Push on the door slowly. The latch should engage the striker in the secondary position. Put more pressure on the door until the latch engages in the primary position.
