Location of the new, larger pin assembly and its new retaining parts.The new pin in the new pin assembly has a diameter of 28.70 0.05 mm (1.129 .002"), which is larger than the former shaft used at this location. This gives a better fit inside the bushing. Also, the pin assembly includes a retainer welded on one end of the pin through which a spacer and bolt are installed for better retention. The spacer fits inside the retainer hole; this design keeps the retainer bolt tighter.
Adaptable To: The new parts are effective with D3C Tractors 3RF248 and 6PF125, and D4C Tractors 2CJ148 and 1RJ175. The new parts, used together, can be installed on earlier D3C and D4C Tractors, and on D3B and D4B Tractors equipped with the anti-pitch connection. The two holes in the former 9W7475 Plate Assembly must be enlarged to 29.35 0.08 mm (1.156 .003") to accept the new pin.
Install the new pin assembly so that the new bolt, washer, and spacer can be installed in the top of the plate assembly as shown. This can be done when the blade is tilted to one side.
