Refer to the following article.Description of Change: A new turbocharger group is now used on the above engines. The new turbocharger has a seal that is added between the turbine housing and the bearing housing in order to improve the sealing of the joint.Adaptable To: The new turbocharger group is a direct replacement for the old turbocharger group. The new turbocharger groups are adaptable to the engines that are listed above back to first production. The new 289-4079 Seal is used on all of the turbochargers that are listed in Table 1 below.
