Start By:a. remove air cleaner group1. Tilt the radiator guard forward. Drain radiator coolant. 2. Loosen two hose clamps (1) and slide the hose away from tube (3). Fasten a nylon strap and hoist to the tube. Remove bolts (2), and remove tube (3). The weight of the tube is 31.7 Kg (70 lb.). 3. Loosen two hose clamps (4), and slide hose (5) away from the radiator. Install tool (A) and a hoist on the top of the radiator tank assembly.4. Remove bolts (6) and bolts (7). Remove tank assembly top and plate (8) carefully. The weight of the tank assembly top is 27 Kg (60 lb.). Do not disconnect the air conditioner condenser lines.5. Remove bolts (9), and remove air conditioner condenser (10). Lay the air conditioner condenser away from the front of the radiator. 6. Remove bolts (11), and replace water temperature indicator (12) if necessary. Remove seals (13) and seals (14) from the tank assembly top. 7. To remove each radiator core, remove bolts (15) and bolts (16) from the strap assemblies. Remove radiator core (17) carefully. Remove the seal from the bottom end of the core. The following steps are for the installation of the radiator core, (in chasis).8. Make sure the radiator cores and the holes in the bottom tank are clean and free of dirt and foreign material.9. Lightly, lubricate the inside diameter of the seals and the sealing surface of the seals, the bottom tank and the radiator cores with liquid soap. There are two different seals used in the installation of the radiator cores. The distance between the locating projections of each end of the radiator is different. Install the correct seal on each end of the cores. 10. Install the correct seals (13) or (14) on radiator cores (17).11. Put radiator cores (17) in position on the bottom of the tank assembly with locating projections (18) aligned with locating holes (19) in the bottom tank. 12. Install the strap assemblies with bolts (16) and bolts (15) for each radiator core (17) that was removed. 13. Lubricate the seals and locating projections on the top of the radiator cores. Install tool (A) and fasten a hoist to the tank assembly top and plate. Install the tank assembly top and the bolts that hold it, but do not tighten.14. Adjust the trash gap, (clearance between the edges of the core assemblies), on the grille side (front) of the radiator assembly as follows: a. Adjust the cores by hand until dimension (A) is 6.5 1.5 mm (.26 .06 in.). Adjust the center core first; then work toward the channels on each side of the radiator assembly.b. Tighten bolts (16) that fasten front tie strap (20).15. Tighten the bolts that hold the tank assembly top. Remove the hoist and tool (A). Slide hose (5) on the radiator and tighten the two clamps. Install the air conditioner condenser. 16. Fasten a nylon strap and hoist to tube (3), and install the
