3 12 139-5943 Bolt Torque to 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft). Removal Procedure

Remove the rear drive shaft.
Remove the rear tires and rims.

Disconnect clamp (1). Disconnect clip (2) and disconnect harness assembly (3).

Disconnect hose assembly (4).

Disconnect tube assembly (6).

Attach a suitable lifting device to rear axle (9). The weight of rear axle (9) is approximately 3856 kg (8500 lb).

Remove bolts (10).

Lower rear axle (9) onto Tooling (A) and Tooling (B). Installation Procedure
Install rear axle (9) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (11) and bolts (10) to a torque of 2000 250 N m (1475 184 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (C) to the dowel bores in the frame.
