is verified, continue to the next step.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position. Turn the key start switch to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
Verify that the power supply diagnostic code is still active.Note: In the next steps, the components will be disconnected one at a time to eliminate the components as the cause of this problem.
Refer to the connection diagram at the beginning of this procedure in order to determine the components that are powered by the ECM + 15.0V DC power supply. While monitoring the status of the diagnostic code, individually disconnect each component one at a time. If the diagnostic code clears when a component is disconnected, replace the component. After all of the components are disconnected, check the status of the active power supply diagnostic code. If the diagnostic code is still active, proceed to the next step.
Turn the battery disconnect switch and the key start switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the machine harness connector J2 from the Motor 2 ECM. Examine the pins and sockets on the ECM and on the J2 connector. Ensure that all of the pins and sockets are secured in the connector, the contacts are clean, and the contacts are in good condition.
Disconnect the machine harness connector J2 from the Motor 1 ECM. Examine the pins and sockets on the ECM and on the J2 connector. Ensure that all of the pins and sockets are secured in the connector, the contacts are clean, and the contacts are in good condition.
At the J2 harness connector for the Motor 2 ECM, measure the resistance between the power supply positive circuit at contact J2-15 (wire PWR3P) and a good cabinet ground point. Measure the resistance between the power supply positive circuit at contact J2-15 and all of the other circuit contacts that are used on the J2 harness connector for the Motor 2 ECM.

At the J2 harness connector for the Motor 2 ECM, measure the resistance between the power supply positive circuit at contact J2-49 (wire PWR4P) and a good cabinet ground point. Measure the resistance between the power supply positive circuit at contact J2-49 and all of the other circuit contacts that are used on the J2 harness connector for the Motor 2 ECM.
