Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Check the O-ring seal from the water pump for damage or wear. If necessary, replace the O-ring seal.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to water pump (3). The weight of water pump (3) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb). Install water pump (3).
Install bolts (5) that hold water pump (3) to the front housing.
Install elbow (4), tube (7), and elbow (8) as a unit. Check the gaskets and the O-ring seal for wear or damage. If necessary, replace the gaskets.
Install bolts (6).
Install bolts (2).
Connect water inlet connection (1) to water pump (3).
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
