Remove retaining nut (4) from handle (5) .
Remove handle (5) from shaft assembly (6) .

The linkage can move and form a pinch point which can cause personal injury. Keep hands away from the linkage.
If the air shutoff (1) is not in the closed position, disengage the lever assembly (12) from the cam locking mechanism of shaft assembly (6) with a screw driver.

Remove bolt (13) and washer (14) from air shutoff (1) .
Remove shaft assembly (6) and lever assembly (12) from air shutoff (1) .

Install shaft assembly (16) into air shutoff (1) .
Install lever assembly (15) onto air shutoff (1) use the original bolt (13) and washer (14) .
Reassemble air shutoff with one gasket (7) and the original hardware.Note: Apply Loctite 271 to bolts (9) when installing plate assembly (11) .
