Installation Procedure

Fasten chains and a suitable lifting device to fuel tank (1), as shown.
Install the fuel tank to the machine. The weight of an empty fuel tank is 673 kg (1,480 lb).

Install twelve mountings (13) and six retaining washers (11). Install the six washers and bolts (12) .

Connect ground strap (10) behind the right side cover plate.

Install cover plates (9) and bolts (8) .

Connect hose assembly (7) to the fuel tank.

Install tube assembly (5) and two bolts (4) to lift cylinder (6) .

Connect wiring harness (1) to the fuel gauge sending unit. Install two tie straps in order to hold wiring harness (1) to the fuel tank.Note: Fill the fuel tank with fuel to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for all fluid capacities and the proper filling procedures.
