1. Disconnect electrical connector (1). 2. Open lifting magnet control panel door (2). 3. Disconnect three wires (5).4. Remove two retainers (3) and electrical conduit (4). 5. Disconnect two wires (6).6. Remove two retainers (7) and electrical conduit (8).7. Disconnect two electrical connectors (9). 8. Remove four bolts and washers (10). 9. Remove clips (12) and (13).10. Install appropriate lifting device (11) as shown.11. Remove the generator from the machine.Install Generator
1. Install the generator by using an appropriate lifting device (11).2. Install two clips (12) and (13). 3. Install four bolts and washers (10). 4. Connect two electrical connectors (9).5. Install conduit (8) and two retainers (7).6. Connect two wires (6). 7. Install conduit (4) and two retainers (3).8. Connect three wires (5). 9. Close the lifting magnet control panel door.10. Connect electrical connector (1).End By:install generator drive assemblyRemove & Install Generator Brushes
1. Open the access door under the walkway. 2. Remove four bolts (2) and cover (1). 3. Remove two clips (3) and two screws (4).4. Remove two brushes (5).5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for the other two brushes on the opposite side of the generator. For the installation of the generator brushes reverse the assembly steps.
