PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Remove the current display by first removing the 345-6027 Console As (Right-Hand Side).

2. In order to remove the console, first remove the following:
Two 258-3727 Screws on the left of the 378-1005 Monitor Electronic Control Module.
Retain the screws for the installation procedure.
Two 8Y-5947 Fasteners right below the switches.

3. Remove plugs as shown on the right-hand side console assembly. Images 1.3.1. There will be switches instead of plugs on certain machines equipped with ride control or roading lights or hazard lights or turn signals. Retain the switches or plugs for the installation procedure.

4. Remove the 373-4446 Plug below the knob assembly in order to grab the module from the holes exposed after removing these plugs. Retain the plug for the installation procedure.
5. Carefully pull away the entire right-hand side console assembly starting from the top side where the console contacts the top of the canopy assembly.
Note: Be cautious not to break locking tab that secures console to canopy.
Note: Movement of the console assembly will also be restrained by the harness assembly. Use caution when removing the console assembly and, if necessary carefully unplug each harness connection.

6. Remove the four 135-7242 Screws and the four 9X-8256 Washers located on the back of the electronics group.
This procedure will remove the display from the console.

Connect the new Monitor Electronic Control Module (Advanced Display) to the 12-pin L-C24 connector from the harness assembly.
Continue reconnecting each switch and the knob assembly onto the corresponding receptacles in the right-hand side console.
Once all the devices are reconnected, install the right-hand side console back into place.
Reinsert the top tab of the console and lock the console into place.
Install the two 258-3727 Screws on the left of the console. Refer to Image 1.1.1 for location.
Install the two 8Y-5947 Fasteners on the right of the console below the switches. Refer to Image 1.2.1 for location.
With the installation of new display all operator profiles will need to be recreated. Refer to the "Operation and Maintenance Manual" under section "Operator Management" for recreating operator profiles and pass codes.
The default Master Code is "1111" and should be changed by the machine owner as soon as possible after enabling the Advanced Machine Security System.
