Personal injury can result from air pressure.Personal injury can result without following proper procedure. When using pressure air, wear a protective face shield and protective clothing.Maximum air pressure at the nozzle must be less than 205 kPa (30 psi) for cleaning purposes.
Note: Adjust the frequency of cleaning according to the effects of the operating environment.Note: Pressurized air is the preferred method for removing loose debris. Pressurized water may also be used for cleaning. Use pressurized water in order to soften mud. Clean the screen from both sides. The maximum water pressure for cleaning purposes must be less than 275 kPa (40 psi).
Turn off the engine.

Access the screen from the right side of the machine. Hold the nozzle approximately 6 mm (0.25 inch) away from the screen. Ensure that the spray nozzle is past the electrical connections.

(5) Air inlet screen
Access the screen from the left side of the machine. Hold the nozzle approximately 6 mm (0.25 inch) away from the screen.
If water is used to clean the screen, ensure that the screen is dry before the engine is started. If necessary, use compressed air to dry the screen.
