Reassembly Shaft Seal
Important: Don't touch sealing surfaces of rotating and stationary seals with hands or tools. Metal sealing surfaces must be clean.9. Install o-ring seal on stationary seal retainer, see Fig. 4.10. Install 6 springs in seal retainer.11. Install o-ring seal in seal retainer.12. Align dowel pin of seal retainer with notch in stationary seal. Then install stationary seal in seal retainer, see Fig. 4.
