Install the 457-2826 Baffle As (81).On the right side, use three 8T-4908 Bolts (24) with three 7X-0579 Hard Washers (14).On the left side, use three 8T-4908 Bolts (24) with three 7X-0579 Hard Washers (14).On the top, use three 8T-4908 Bolts (24) with three 7X-0579 Hard Washers (14).Tighten the bolts to 15 3 N m (11 2 lb ft).Attach the bottom ends of the baffle to brackets (36) using one 8T-4908 Bolt (24) with one 7X-0579 Hard Washer (14) per side.

Reinstall the backup alarm that was removed from the previous hood . Route the connector through the cooling baffle and connect with the wiring harness. Use two 344-5674 Nuts (49) and two 7X-0579 Hard Washers (14) to install the alarm to the cowl.Tighten the mounting nuts to 15 3 N m (11 2 lb ft).Install two 7G-7053 Grommets (11) to protect the wiring.Support the wire from the lighting and alarm harness with one 132-5789 Clip (35) secured with one 8T-4908 Bolt (24) and 7X-0579 Hard Washer (14). Attach the wire to the clip with one 7K-1181 Cable Strap (12).Support the connector with one 116-0118 Clip (30). Install the clip with one 8T-4908 Bolt (24) and 7X-0579 Hard Washer (14). Attach the connector body directly to the clip.

Install the 296-9937 Pin As (43) with two 9X-2040 Screws (28). Begin by centering the bolts in the slotted holes. Adjustments will be made when the grille door is installed.
Install the 431-4263 Plate As (76) with two 8T-4908 Bolts (24) and two 7X-0579 Hard Washers (14). Install a 208-6176 Ball Stud (39) with one 7X-0579 Hard Washer (14) into the plate.Tighten the ball stud to 15 3 N m (11 2 lb ft).

Install the 391-5784 Grill Gp (54) with six 8T-4136 Bolts (19) and six 7X-7729 Washers (15).
Attach the gas spring to the ball stud on the grille door. Use one 218-0728 Spring (40) retain the end of the gas spring on the ball stud.
Attach the 451-1550 Gas Spring As (80) to the new ball stud at the hood end. Use one 218-0728 Spring (40) retain the end of the gas spring on the ball stud.
Swing the door closed and check the alignment of the latch pin assembly. The door should close smoothly and freely without excessive force. Adjust the latch pin assembly to correct the alignment, if needed.

Install one length of 6V-6603 Seal (10), 788 mm (31 inch) long. The seal covers the grille door hinges.

Install four 367-2481 Caps (51), two into the grill door and two in the rear hood panel.

The hood has three lift points that each receive a 339-8810 Insert (48) when not in use.
