Remove the access cover on right side of the engine compartment.
Inspect the condition and the adjustment of the fan belt and the alternator belts. The belts should deflect 14 to 20 mm (.56 to .81) under 110 N (25 lb) of force.Note: If one or more belts are worn or damaged, replace the belts in sets only.Belt Adjustment

Loosen mounting bolt (1) and adjusting bracket bolt (2) .
In order to achieve the correct adjustment, move the alternator inward or move the alternator outward.
Tighten mounting bolt (1) and adjusting bracket bolt (2) .
If new belts are installed, check the belt adjustment after 30 minutes of engine operation.
Replace the access cover.
