Connect Tooling (A) to pressure tap (HFPD) on the bottom of the restrictor valve.
Locate adjustment screw (7) .
Hold adjustment screw (7) in place and loosen locknut (6) . Turn adjustment screw (7) clockwise to the end of travel. Tighten locknut (6) .
In order to isolate the rear pump pressure from the front pump pressure, Hold adjustment screw (10) in place and loosen locknut (11) . Turn adjustment screw (10) clockwise by five revolutions.
Disconnect fan control solenoid (5) .Note: When the fan control solenoid is disconnected, the fan should turn at maximum speed.
Install the floorplate. Make sure that the floorplate does not interfere with the test equipment.Test for the Rear Pump Pressure
Start the engine. Run the engine at HIGH IDLE.
The pressure at pressure tap (HFPD) should be 19500 350 kPa (2828 50 psi).
Stop the engine.
If the value is correct, proceed to Step 5 in "Adjust for the Rear Pump Pressure". If the value is not correct, proceed to Step 1 in "Adjust for the Rear Pump Pressure".Adjust for the Rear Pump Pressure
Remove the floorplate.
Hold adjustment screw for the cutoff pressure (rear pump) (9) in place and loosen locknut (8) .
Turn adjustment screw (9) clockwise in order to increase the pressure setting or turn adjustment screw (9) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure setting.
Perform Steps 7 through 4 in "Test for the Rear Pump Pressure".
When the pressure is within the specified limit, return the adjustment screw for the restrictor valve to the original position. Hold adjustment screw for the restrictor valve (10) in place and loosen locknut (11) . Turn adjustment screw (10) counterclockwise by five revolutions.
Hold adjustment screw for the restrictor valve (10) in place and tighten locknut (11) .
Remove the test equipment and install the floorplate.Pressure Test and Adjust for the Fan Control Restrictor Valve

Refer to Step 1 through Step 10 in "Machine Preparation".
