Counterclockwise rotation of the pump will be seen when you look from the drive end of the pump. The pump must turn freely before installation and after installation. Use SAE 10W oil at a temperature of 66° 4°C (151° 7°F) for performing a bench test. (1) Assemble the seals with the backs next to each other. Lubricate the lip of the seal with SAE 10W oil.
