Disconnect three electrical connectors (2) and six hose assemblies (3) from service brake control valve (1).

Remove retainer (6). Loosen setscrew (5) on the back of brake pedal (4). Note: Setscrew (5) is not shown in the above illustration.

Remove bolts (8) and left pedal assembly (7).

Remove screws (9) and cover (10).

Carefully remove pin (12), brake pedal (11) and spring (13).

Use two persons to remove the service brake control valve. Support the service brake control valve under the cab. Remove bolts (14) and the service brake control valve. Installation Procedure

Use two persons to install the service brake control valve. Support the service brake control valve under the cab. Install the service brake control valve and bolts (14).

Carefully install brake pedal (11), spring (13) and pin (12).

Install cover (10) and screws (9).

Install left pedal assembly (7) and bolts (8).

Tighten setscrew (5) on the back of brake pedal (4). Install retainer (6). Note: Setscrew (5) is not shown in the above illustration.

Connect three electrical connectors (2) and six hose assemblies (3) to service brake control valve (1).
Fill the hydraulic tank for the steering system and for the braking system. For the correct procedure, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine.
Start the engine and check for leaks. Note: After the steering frame lock is separated, check for proper operation of the service brake. For the correct procedure, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine.End By:
