A - Loctite C5A Anti-Seize Compound - Front Idler

Position the machine on suitable cribbing.
Separate the track on front idler (1). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Separate."
The weight of front idler (1) is approximately 360 kg (800 lb). Attach a suitable lifting device to front idler (1).
Remove bolts (3) and cap (2) from each side of front idler (1).
Remove front idler (1).Rear Idler

Separate track on rear idler (4). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Separate."
The weight of rear idler (4) is approximately 320 kg (700 lb). Attach a suitable lifting device to rear idler (4).
Remove bolts (6) and cap (5) from each side of rear idler (4).
Remove rear idler (4).Installation Procedure
Install front idler (1) and rear idler (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (6) and (3). Tighten bolts (6) and (3) to a torque of 1600 200 N m (1180 150 lb ft).Note: Tighten bolts (6) and (3) on the abutment side of the cup prior to tightening bolts (6) and (3) on the gap side of the cup.
