Configuration Files (.cfg)
Configuration files must be created with Cat Configurator software. The configuration files are sent to the dragline system by using Machine Manager or through a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) connection to the onboard dragline system.The following configuration files must be sent to the onboard dragline system:
"Operator.cfg"
"Work.cfg"
"Delay.cfg"The configuration file "Operator.cfg" is required on the onboard system of the dragline to provide a list of operators to the machine operator during an operator login. The "Operator.cfg" configuration file is used to manage groups of operators and names of operators. The configuration file is located in the "/Aquila/config" directory.The configuration file "Work.cfg" is required on the onboard system of the dragline to provide the list of production codes to the machine operator during an operator login. When the dragline system is set in delay, the configuration file "Delay.cfg" is required on the onboard system to provide a list of delay codes to the machine operator.The delay code list and the work code list are generated in the office with the use of Cat Configurator. The delay codes and work codes can be grouped into categories.MineStar Files (.mwf)
On a dragline system that is version 6.6 or later, Terrain or Fleet may be used for office communication. A dragline system configured for Terrain or Fleet uses Cat MineStar System (.mwf) configuration files.Cat MineStar System files must be created and sent to the dragline system using Terrain office. The following MineStar files must be sent to the dragline onboard:

"Jobcode.mwf"Perform the following procedure to create and send MineStar files to the dragline system:

Open the control center in Cat MineStar System and click the "Onboard Lists".The "Onboard List (MWF) Configuration screen will appear."
Select the desired file type from the drop-down list and then click "Add". Refer to Illustration 1.Note: For operator, delay, and job code lists, create groups first.

Creating an operator
Enter a unique numeric identifier in the "Identifier" field.
Enter an item in the "Name" field.
In the "Machine Allocations" section, select "Dragline" as the machine type that the item should be sent to.
Click "Apply" to save and continue adding items.
Click the "Generate <filetype> MWF button."The generated file will display in the "Onboard Lists" folder in the "File Manager" tab.
Click "OK" to save and exit.
Send the file to the dragline by one of the following methods:
Drag and drop the file to the machine icon.
Right-click the file in the "File Manager" and then click "Send File".
Right-click on the dragline icon and then click "Send File".This action may be done wherever a dragline icon appears.
