The batteries are located on the left and right sides of the machine. There is an access panel in order to gain access to each battery.Tighten the battery retainers on all batteries at every 1000 hour interval.Perform the following procedures at every 1000 hour interval. Check the following areas more often, as required:
Clean the top of the batteries with a clean cloth.
Keep the terminals clean and coat the terminals with petroleum jelly.
Keep the terminal covers in place.
Open the access door.
Clean the top of the batteries with a clean cloth. Keep the terminals clean and coated with petroleum jelly. Install the terminal covers after you coat the terminals.
Close the access door.
