The "MAT" key allows the operator to enter numbers that will identify materials that have been loaded. The operator may choose to load the codes from the optional off-board PCS-PC software program. The operator will then see text descriptions for the materials instead of numbers.Two different software packages are used. The software package will be displayed when the system is activated.The amount of ID's varies with the version of PCS with a minimum of 20. Press the "MAT" key while you are in the normal weigh mode. The display will show the current selected material on the top line. The index number will be shown on the bottom line.Note: The display will automatically return to the weigh mode after 5 seconds.This mode will automatically abort after several seconds if you do not press any keys. This mode can also be aborted by pressing the "CLEAR" key.Press the "MAT" key to view the identification of the current material.Changing the ID of the Material
Press the "MAT" key.
Use the keypad to enter the new ID number. You can also press the "SCROLL" key to scroll through the materials.
Press the "STORE" key.Target Weight ("TRGT")
The "TRGT" mode allows the operator to enter a target weight that will be loaded onto the truck. The operator will be working toward the desired weight. The current weight of the bucket will be shown on the top line of the display. The total that is needed to fill the truck will be shown on the bottom line.The top line will show 0.00 before the first pass. The bottom line will show the target weight. The target weight will be reduced by the weight of the material that is in the bucket after you dump a load into the truck. The bottom line will show 0.00 after the truck is fully loaded. The bottom line of the display will flash a negative value if the current bucket load would overload the truck.Press the "TRGT" key to view the current target weight. The message "TARGT" will be displayed on the top line. The bottom line will show the current target weight.This mode will automatically abort after several seconds if you do not press any keys. This mode can also be aborted by pressing the "CLEAR" key.Changing the Target Weight or Enabling Countdown
Press the "TRGT" key.
The target weight will be shown on the bottom line of the display.
Use the keypad to enter the desired target weight.
Press the "STORE" key.Returning to the Normal Mode
Use the "BRT/0" key to change the target weight to zero. Then press the "STORE" key. Use the previous procedure "Changing the Target Weight or Enable the Countdown Mode".Total ("TOT")
The "TOT" mode allows the operator to accumulate a running total of all the materials that have been stored.Pressing the "TOT" key will accumulate bucket loads. The loads will be accumulated from the last resetting of the system. Resetting the total has no effect on the data that is already stored in the memory. The display
