Install fan drive motor (2) and two bolts (8) into the frame assembly. Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).

Typical ExampleNote: Thoroughly clean the bore of the fan adapter and the shaft of the fan motor prior to assembly.
Turn over the fan assembly. Install the fan with a suitable lifting device, as shown.

Typical Example
Install nut (7). Tighten nut (7) to a torque of 200 30 N m (150 22 lb ft). Apply Tooling (B) to the shaft threads.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to support the fan assembly, as shown.
Install the two halves of the guard assembly. Install four bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) finger tight in order to ensure correct alignment.

Install four bolts (5) for the fan motor support. Tighten bolts (5) finger tight in order to ensure alignment of the fan guard to the fan shroud.
Remove the suitable lifting device from the assembly.

Install the twelve bolts (4) that mount the fan guard to the fan shroud finger tight.
Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).

Install bolts (3) that secure hose clamps to the fan motor support.

To avoid system damage, make sure that the hydraulic motor is properly filled with hydraulic oil before start-up.
Connect three hose assemblies (1) at the fan motor (2) ., End By:
Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblySENR5873, "Hood - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
