Main Pump Flow Limit Valve
The following is a list of negative flow control (NFC) valves that can be calibrated within this sub menu of the Operator Monitor screen:
NFC 1 (Pressure Gauge Method)
NFC 2 (Pressure Gauge Method)
NFC 1 (Flow Meter Method)
NFC 2 (Flow Meter Method)

Calibrations
Main Pump Flow Limit
"STICK VALVE"Perform the operation requested on the monitor screen. Refer to Testing and Adjusting - 336E Excavator Hydraulic System, KENR7985, "Solenoid Valve (Proportional Reducing) - Calibrate - Negative Flow Control" for the NFC pressure gauge method. Refer to Testing and Adjusting - 336E Excavator Tool Control System, KENR7988, "Solenoid Valve (Proportional Reducing) - Calibrate - Flow Limit Valves" for the NFC flow meter method. The example of the calibration process detailed in the table below is for the "NFC 1 (Pressure Gauge Method).".

Step     Operation    
1     Press the "OK" key on the Operator Monitor.    
2     Connect a pressure gauge to the "NFC 1 Limit Pressure" port of the valve.    
3     Confirm that temperature of the hydraulic oil is at least
50° 10°C (122° 18°F).    
4     Move the stick to the maximum OUT position.    
5     Press the "OK" key on Operator Monitor. (The engine speed will automatically increase to the equivalence of engine speed dial 10.    
6     Hold the stick lever in the OUT position.    
7     Use the "LEFT" and "RIGHT" arrows to adjust the pressure until the pressure gauge reads
1500 50 kPa (218 7 psi).    
8     Press the "OK" key on the Operator Monitor.    
9     Hold the stick lever in the OUT position.    
10     Use the "LEFT" and "RIGHT" arrows to adjust the pressure until the pressure gauge reads
3000 50 kPa (435 7 psi).    
11     Press the "OK" key on the Operator Monitor.    
12     Stop activating the boom control.    
13     Move hydraulic lock lever to the ON position.    
14     If no error occurs, calibration has been completed successfully.    
15     Press the "BACK" key to return to the upper layer screen.    Boom Down Regen Valve
Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the "Boom Down Regen" valve:

3447 kPa (500 psi) pressure sensor to the pressure tap for the "Boom Down Regeneration Valve".    
3     Start the engine.    
4     Confirm that temperature of the hydraulic oil is
50° 10°C (122° 18°F).    
5     Select "Boom Down Regen Valve" from the "Calibrations" menu..    
6     Press the "OK" key on the Operator Monitor to start the calibration.
