Place transmission (1) on Tooling (B). The weight of the transmission is 600 kg (1320 lb).
Apply a continuous bead of 154-8874 Adhesive Kit (16) to the machined surface of transmission (1).

Install Tooling (C) to cover (14). Attach a hoist and suitable lifting slings to Tooling (C).
Use the hoist to carefully connect cover (14) to transmission (1). The weight of the torque converter and the cover as a unit is 210 kg (465 lb).
Install 25 bolts (15). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).

Connect wire connector (13).
Connect tube (11).
Connect wire (10) and install cable tie (12).

Install yoke (7).
Install retainer (9) and bolt (8). Tighten the bolt to a torque of 120 20 N m (90 15 lb ft).
Use Tooling (B) to turn transmission (1) horizontally.

Install pump drive housing (6). Reference: Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Pump Drive Housing - Install"

Install transmission oil pump (4).
Install two socket head bolts (5). Tighten the socket head bolts to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).

Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting sling around piston pump (2).
Use the hoist to carefully install piston pump (2). The weight of the piston pump is 59 kg (130 lb).
Install four bolts (3) and the washers.

Install Tooling (A) to transmission (1). Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (A).
Use Tooling (A) to separate transmission (1) from Tooling (B). The weight of the transmission and the torque converter as a unit is 815 kg (1800 lb). End By:
Install the torque converter and the transmission in the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter and Transmission - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
