Use the steps and the handholds when you dismount. When you dismount, face the machine and use both hands.
Inspect the engine compartment for debris. Clean out any debris in order to avoid a fire hazard.
Remove all flammable debris from the front bottom guard through the access doors in order to reduce a fire hazard. Discard the debris properly.
Always turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position before leaving the machine.
If the machine will not be operated for a month or more, remove the battery disconnect switch key. Note: Do not turn the battery disconnect switch OFF until the "Wait to Disconnect Lamp" has turned off. If the battery disconnect switch is turned off before the lamp has shut off, the DEF system will not purge. DEF could freeze and damage the pump and lines.
Lock all compartments.
