Remove the fan drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Drive - Remove".

Remove the bolt and washer (1) from fan bracket (2). Remove bracket (2) .

Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (3) .

Use Tooling (B) to remove the shaft and bearing assembly (4) from pulley (5) .

Use Tooling (C) to remove retaining ring (6) from the shaft and bearing assembly (4). Remove washer (7) .

Place the shaft and the bearing assembly into a suitable press, as shown. Use the press to remove bearing (8) from shaft (9) .
