Joystick's Switch (Hammer)
Illustration 6 g01149081
(C) Right joystick's switch (Hammer)Machines that are equipped with a System 16 prime use a joystick's switch on the right joystick to control a hammer. The hammer turns ON when switch (C) is depressed. While the switch is being pressed, power is sent directly to the solenoid for the hammer. When the switch is released, power to the solenoid is discontinued. The hammer turns OFF.

(A) Right joystick's switch (Hammer)Machines that are equipped with a System 14 or a System 17 use a joystick's switch on the right joystick to control a hammer. The hammer turns ON when switch (A) is depressed. While the switch is being pressed, power is sent directly to the solenoid for the hammer. When the switch is released, power to the solenoid is discontinued. The hammer turns OFF. Foot Switch (Hammer)
Illustration 8 g01148800
Foot Switch (Hammer)The hammer turns ON when the foot switch is depressed. When the foot switch is being pressed, the switch sends power directly to the solenoid for the hammer. When the switch is released, power to the solenoid is discontinued. The hammer turns OFF. This switch is present on machines that are equipped with a System 3. Direction Switch (One-Way/Two-Way Flow)
Illustration 9 g00779295
The switch for changing the hydraulic work tool circuit from one-way flow to two-way flow is located on the console. The switch is a rocker switch and the switch stays in one position until the operator changes the position. When one-way flow is selected, the switch sends power to the solenoid (number 1) for one-way flow and the solenoid (number 2) for one-way flow. No power is sent to the solenoid for two-way flow. In this configuration, hydraulic oil flow always travels to the work tool in one line and returns to the tank in a separate line. This switch is not connected to the ECM.When two-way flow is selected, the switch sends power to the solenoid for two-way flow. No power is sent to either solenoid for one-way flow. In this configuration, hydraulic oil flow can reverse in the hydraulic circuits.Pressure Switch (Implement)
Illustration 10 g00775885
Pressure Switch (Implement)The pressure switch (implement) sends a signal to the ECM. This signal tells the ECM that the implement is operating.Pressure Switches
Illustration 11 g00776058
Joystick Pressure SwitchThe pressure switch signals the ECM when portions of the hydraulic circuit is in operation. The ECM will determine the parameters to use in order to control the hydraulic output. The joystick pressure switch sends a signal to the ECM. This switch senses an increase in pressure when the joysticks that control the implements are operated. Hydraulic Lock Limit Switch ( Neutral Start)
