Start By:
Remove the condenser. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Refrigerant Condenser - Remove and Install".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: SERVICE DATA: TOOLING (ZZ) WILL NOT BE IDENTIFIED IN PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE REMOVAL OR THE INSTALLATION. THIS TOOLING IS SHOWN IN ORDER TO ASSIST THE EXPERIENCED SERVICEMAN.

Disconnect three harness assemblies (1) from the bottom of the radiator.

Attach a suitable lifting device to the radiator guard and support assembly (2). The weight of the radiator guard and support assembly is approximately 181 kg (400 lb). Remove eight bolts (3) on each side of the machine. Remove the radiator guard and support assembly (2) .

Disconnect tube assemblies (4) .

Remove bolts (5) and remove bracket (6) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (7). The weight of aftercooler is approximately 35 kg (75 lb). Remove bolts (8) and (9) on both sides of aftercooler (7). Remove the aftercooler.Installation Procedure

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (7). The weight of aftercooler is approximately 35 kg (75 lb). Install the aftercooler. Install bolts (8) and (9) on both sides of aftercooler (7).

Install bracket (6). Install bolts (5) .

Connect tube assemblies (4). Tighten the clamps on tube assemblies (4) to a torque of 12 1 N m (106 9 lb in).

Attach a suitable lifting device to the radiator guard and support assembly (2). The weight of the radiator guard and support assembly is approximately 181 kg (400 lb). Install the radiator guard and support assembly (2). Install eight bolts (3) on each side of the machine.
