Remove yoke assembly (3) from the rear differential. Yoke assembly (3) is a slip fit.

Remove bolts (4) from the junction blocks on each side of the rear main frame.

Disconnect tube assembly (5) that is connected to the grease fitting on top of the front support.
Fasten a suitable floor jack (8) to front support (7) .
Remove bolts (6), the nuts and washers that attach front support (7) to the rear main frame.
Remove the front support from the differential. The weight of the front support is 102 kg (224 lb).

Remove the bolts and washers that attach the retainer to the front support. Remove the retainer and the gasket from the front support.
Remove O-ring seals (10) and sleeve bearing (9) from the front support.
If necessary, remove the two locating dowels from the front support.Installation Procedure

Install the alignment dowels in the front support. The dowels should extend 55.6 1.5 mm (2.19 .06 inch) above the outside surface of the front support.
Install sleeve bearing (3) in the front support. Sleeve bearing (3) should make contact with the counterbore in the front support.
Install two O-ring seals (4) in the front support. Put a thin coat of 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease on O-ring seals (4) and sleeve bearing (3) .
Install the gasket and the retainer on the front support. Install the washers and the bolts that hold the retainer in position.

Fasten a suitable floor jack (8) to front support (7). Install the front support on the rear differential.
Install bolts (6), the washers, and the nuts that hold the front support to the rear main frame. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1125 100 N m (830 75 lb ft).
Connect tube assembly (5) to the grease fitting. The grease fitting is located on the top of the front support.

Install bolts (9) in the junction blocks. The junction blocks are located on each side of the rear main frame.

Install yoke assembly (10) on the rear differential. Yoke assembly (10) is a slip fit.

Use Tooling (A) in order to lower the machine to the floor.End By: Install the rear drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Rear) - Remove and Install".
