Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the cowling. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cowling (Radiator) - Remove and Install".
Remove the crankcase guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankcase Guard - Remove and Install".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the removal procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Attach a suitable lifting device to support assembly (1). The weight of support assembly (1) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb).
Remove bolts (2) and remove support assembly (1) .
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the other side.

Remove bolt (3) and bolt (4). Repeat for the other side.

Remove bolts (5). Remove bolts (7). Position baffle (6) out of the way. Repeat for the other side.

Loosen clamps (9) and clamps (11). Remove hose (8) and hose (10) .

Remove bolts (12). Remove baffle (13) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (14). The weight of aftercooler (14) is approximately 52 kg (115 lb).
Remove bolts (15) and the brackets. Repeat on the other side. Lower aftercooler (14) .
