Remove 342-2550 Cable As (A) from the battery box (B). Discard cable assembly (A) .

Rework the opening for the battery box (B) as per dimension shown in Illustration 3.

Orient one end terminal of the cable assembly (1) to the alternator breaker. Refer to Illustration 4.

Route cable assembly (1) through the reworked battery box opening along with other cable assemblies. Use two grommets (2), two clips (3), one grommet (4), one clip (5), one nut (6), two hard washers (7), and one bolt (8) to orient cable assembly (1) along with other cable assemblies.
