Ensure that the high-pressure water system is deactivated. The indicator light next to the switch should be off. If the high-pressure water system is operating, push high-pressure water switch (15) to deactivate.

Use rear leg lower switch (16) to lower the rear of machine onto lock bars (12).

Ensure that the engine is operating in low idle. The high idle indicator light should be off. If this indicator is illuminated, press throttle control switch (17) to operate the engine in low idle.

Move engine start switch (18) to the OFF position.

Open compartment door (19) at the front of the operator platform. Move engine compartment switch (20) to the RAISE position. Hold the switch until the engine compartment is fully open. Close compartment door (19).

Release the latches of engine access panel (21). Raise the engine access panel and install the prop rod.

Disconnect case drain hose (22) from the fan pump.
Connect the inlet of flowmeter assembly to fitting (23) on the charge manifold. Connect the outlet of flow-meter assembly to case drain hose (22).

Connect Tool (A2) to charge pressure tap "M3" (24) on the propel pump.Test Procedure
Move engine start switch (18) to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Use high idle switch (17) to operate the engine in high idle. The high idle indicator light should be illuminated.

Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on operator display (25). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches a minimum of 38 °C (100 °F).
Use throttle control switch (17) to operate the engine in low idle.
Read pressure on Tool (A1) on charge port (24) on the propel pump. Refer to "Specifications", Table 2 for the charge pressure.Note: Charge pressure may be out of specification. Charge pressure out of specification will have a negligible effect on case drain flow. Charge pressure will be adjusted after case drain flow to the fan pump is verified.
Read the case drain flow on Tool (C). Refer to "Specifications", Table 2for the case drain flow.
Move engine start switch (18) to the OFF position.
If the pressure recorded in Step 5 is outside the specified range, perform the charge relief valve test for the propel pump and for the conveyor pump. If the pressure is inside the specified range, go to the next step.
If the case drain flow recorded in Step 6 is outside the specified range, perform "Adjustment Procedure". Repeat the flow test.
Remove Tool (A2) from charge pressure tap (24) on the propel pump. Install the cap on the charge pressure tap.
Remove the flow-meter, reconnect case drain hose (22).
Remove the prop rod, lower engine access panel (21), and secure the latches.
Open compartment door (19) at the front of the operator platform. Move engine compartment switch (20) to the LOWER position. Hold switch until the engine compartment is fully closed. Close compartment door (19).
Perform the charge relief valve test and adjust for the propel pump and the conveyor
