Remove the hydraulic rotator.
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to quick coupler (1). Place quick coupler (1) in vertical position on a suitable cribbing as shown in illustration 1. Refer to the Table 2 for the weight information of quick coupler (1).

Remove bolts (2) and (4) equally and rings (3) and (5).
Repeat for opposite side.

Remove nuts (6) and (8) and bolt (7).

Attach a suitable lifting device to wedge (9). The weight of wedge (9) is approximately 12 kg (26lb). Remove wedge (9) and shafts (10).
Remove springs (11) and spacers (12).

Remove plates (13).Installation Procedure
Install the quick coupler lock in the reverse order of the removal.
Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 295 20 N m (218 15 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 295 20 N m (218 15 lb ft).
Tighten nut (6) against nut (8) to a torque of 210 20 N m (155 15 lb ft.).
