Lubricate the face of washers (2) and the threads of bolts (1) prior to assembly with anti-seize compound.
Tighten the bolts in a star pattern.Torque ... 50 N m (37 lb ft)
Tighten the bolts in a star pattern.Torque ... 400 50 N m (295 37 lb ft)
Turn the bolts clockwise by the additional degrees.Degrees ... 180 15New 5N-2317 Bolts are recommended when the shaft is serviced.Refer to Special Instruction, REHS0445, "Alignment Procedures For G3500 Tandem Generator Sets" when the flexible coupling is serviced or when the engines are moved.
