New 124-3349 Plate. Assemble the "timing control crank angle sensor" in hole (E). Assemble the "engine control speed sensor" in hole (C). Assemble the "timing control speed sensor" in either hole (A), (B), or (D).1. With the engine stopped, assemble the timing control crank angle sensor in hole (E). Turn the sensor until the magnet core contacts the flywheel. Then, back out the sensor five-eighths of a turn. Tighten the locknut to 45 7 N m (33 5 lb ft). The clearance between the sensor and the flywheel will be 0.55 to 0.83 mm (.022 to .033 in).2. Pin the crankshaft. Loosen the sensor mounting plate bolts. Slide the plate in order to center the crank angle sensor over the hole in the flywheel. Tighten the sensor mounting plate bolts.3. Assemble the engine control speed sensor in hole (C). Turn the sensor until the magnet core contacts the ring gear tooth. Then, back out the sensor five-eighths of a turn. Tighten the locknut to 45 7 N m (33 5 lb ft). The clearance will be 0.55 to 0.83 mm (.022 to .033 in).4. With the crankshaft pinned and the crank angle sensor centered over the flywheel hole, assemble the timing control speed sensor in either hole (A), (B), or (D). Choose the hole that provides the best alignment over the center of a ring gear tooth. Turn the sensor until the magnet core contacts the ring gear tooth. Then, back out the sensor five-eighths of a turn. Tighten the locknut to 45 7 N m (33 5 lb ft). The clearance will be 0.55 to 0.83 mm (.022 to .033 in).
