1. Start the engine and lower the bail assembly. Stop the engine.2. Fasten a hoist to bail assembly (1) as shown. 3. Put a wood block under the rod of the bail cylinder as shown. The wood block is used as a support.4. Remove bolt (2) and pin assembly (3). Lower the cylinder onto the wood block. 5. Remove bolt (4) from each pin assembly that holds the bail assembly. Remove two pin assemblies (5). Remove the bail assembly. The weight of the bail assembly is 214 kg (475 lb). 6. Remove the bearing from the bail assembly with tooling (A). Install in reverse order.
