Remove the 244-1438 fuel line. Installa new 244-1438 fuel line. The new fuel line has a steeper angle. This angleallows the tube to clear the hour meter bracket. The graphic below identifiesthe location of the change.

Inspect the rubber oil hose for the auxiliarywater pump. Ensure that it is not rubbing on any sharp edges. Some enginemay have shipped with the hose making contact as shown in the graphic below.

Inspect the rubber fuel hoses between the fuelfilter base and the ECM. Ensure that they are not rubbing on any sharpedges. Some engine may have shipped with the hoses making contact as shownin the graphic below.
