This Event is a general ground fault warning. The E715 is activated when the detection system cannot determine which section of the electrical power train system the ground fault is occurring in. The ground fault could be occurring in the DC section of the system. The ground fault could be occurring in the AC section of the system.When the E715 Event is activated by the Implement ECM, an immediate safe machine shutdown must take place to avoid possible damage to system components.For purposes of identifying different parts of the Power Train Electric Drive System and the Accessory Power System where the APC can detect ground fault leakage, the Alternating Current (AC) voltage system and the Direct Current (DC) voltage system will be referenced.The AC voltage system includes the following system components:
(14) The internal Generator three-phase AC stator windings and connectors.
(10) The external Generator three-phase AC conductors and connectors between the Generator and the Power Inverter.
(5) The Power Inverter internal three-phase AC connections, components, and circuitry that make up the Control 1 side of the Power Inverter. This side of the inverter is where the three-phase AC Generator output is converted to DC Power.
(5) The Power Inverter internal three-phase AC connections, components, and circuitry that make up the Control 2 side of the Power Inverter. The inverter control 2 side is where the DC Power Bus voltage is inverted to the three-phase PWM output voltage that is sent to the two electric drive motors.
(8, 9) The two sets of external three-phase AC conductors and connectors. The connectors are connected between the Power Inverter and the two electric drive motor connections on the Electric Drive Propulsion Module.
(11) The internal drive motor three-phase AC stator windings and connectors for both of the electric drive motors. The motors are inside of the Electric Drive Propulsion Module.
(13) The external three-phase AC power conductors and connections that are between the Water Pump Motor Control and the Electric Water Pump Motor.
