The new engine ratings electronic software group will have the following improvements:
Updated engine software to kickout desired speed request when the throttle lock switch is switched from the hold state (automatic) to lock (manual) state and vice versa. In other words, the throttle lock will disable when the switch is flipped to the other end of the switch travel.
Engine software has been updated to reduce occurrences of CID 247 FMI-9 SAE J1939 Data Link Abnormal Update Rate, CID 247 FMI-14 SAE J1939 Data Link Special Instruction, and CID 590 FMI-14 Engine Control Module Special Instruction diagnostics which may result in EID 192 Steering System Malfunction events on machines equipped with AccuGrade v11.20 software.Note: Refer to Technical Information Bulletin, TIBU5943, "Steering System Malfunction On Some Motor Graders That Are Equipped With AccuGrade v11.20" was released that announced the AccuGrade v11.21 software.
The engine rating electronic software group was changed to reduce the occurrence of diagnostic code CID 168 FMI -01 Data Valid but below normal operational range and CID 168 FMI-04 Voltage Below Normal.24M Motor Grader
The software has been changed to include an advance at altitudes greater than 1676 m (5500 ft)5500 ft as well the addition of inlet manifold temperature based derate to prevent turbocharger and/or exhaust manifold damage due to high exhaust temperatures. The engine derate is accompanied by a logged level 1 event EID194 High Exhaust Temperature.12M and 120M Motor Grader
The new software will eliminate the small discrepancy in total fuel used data could be saved to the ECM at key off.The engine software was only writing total fuel used once every 5 minutes. If the key was turned off at 4 minutes, 4 minutes of fuel used data would be lost. So, when the ECM was powered back on, Product link would report out that the total had dropped. Now the app layer is forcing this total to be written when the key is shut off.The new engine ratings electronic software group are adaptable to the serial numbers and effective in production with serial numbers that are listed in Table 3.
