new service tool is available to measure the pitch (angle) of propellers. The new 8T5322 Pitchometer can measure propeller pitch at any point on the blade of the propeller. The new tool can be used to measure pitch without removing the propeller from the shaft, regardless of the shaft angle.
Use the new pitchometer to determine which blades of a propeller need to be adjusted, and by how much. When all the blades of a propeller have the same pitch, vibration will be reduced and propeller efficiency is improved, especially on multiple propeller installations. The pitchometer can also be used to check the pitch of propellers stored horizontally.
