The secondary display provides a list of fault codes and text descriptions. If a secondary display is not equipped, the service mode will provide a list of service codes that an operator may communicate to a technician before traveling to the machine. Service Mode can be accessed using the key-switch method. Quickly transition the ignition key from off to run (without going through start) three times to enter the Service Mode. If the display self-test is initiated, the ignition key transition was done too slowly. The LCD displays are used to show the fault code, the Active or Logged status, and the ECM issuing the code.Note: When codes are being displayed, the engine will not crank. Transition the ignition key to OFF prior to operating the machine.Active Codes
While in Service Mode, Active Codes will display first and scroll to the next code every 3 seconds.
Illustration 7 g03744571
Example
ECM will be Machine ECM or Engine ECM Logged Codes
scroll to the next code every 3 seconds.
Illustration 8 g03744573
Example
