1. Move the ejector to the "RETRACTED" position. 2. Place Tooling (A) under the ejector. 3. Raise the ejector to lift front ejector carrier roller (1) away from the floor rail.4. Remove bolt (2) and the nut from the bracket. 5. It may be necessary to spread joint (3) of bracket (4) to remove roller (1). Remove roller (1) from the bracket.Install Ejector Carrier Rollers
1. It may be necessary to spread the joint in bracket (1) to install roller (2).2. Install roller (2) in bracket (1). 3. Install bolt (3) and the nut in bracket (1) that hold the roller in place.4. The rollers must be adjusted so that the clearance between the bottom of the ejector and the bottom of the bowl is between 1.0 mm to 13.0 mm (.04 in to .51 in).5. Remove Tool (A).6. Lubricate the ejector carrier roller. For the correct lubricant, see the Operation And Maintenance Manual.Disassemble Ejector Carrier Rollers
Start By:a) remove ejector carrier rollers 1. Remove bolts (3), cover (2) and the gasket from roller (1). 2. Remove cotter pin (6), nut (5) and washer (4) from the shaft. 3. Remove shaft (8) and bearing cone (7) from roller (1). 4. Remove seal (9) and bearing cone (10) from the roller. 5. Remove small bearing cup (11) from the roller. 6. Remove large bearing cup (12) from the roller.Assemble Ejector Carrier Rollers
1. Lower the temperature of the large bearing cup and install it in the roller with Tool group (A) until it makes contact with the counterbore in the roller. 2. Lower the temperature of the small bearing cup and install it in the roller with Tool group (A) until it makes contact with the counterbore in the roller. 3. Put 5P-0960 Multipurpose Type Grease on the large bearing cone. Install bearing cone (1) in the roller. 4. Install the lip seal in the roller with Tooling (B). Install the seal with the lip toward the inside of the roller and until the seal makes contact with the bottom of the counterbore in the roller. 5. Pack (lubricate) the cavity of roller (2) between the bearing cones with 5P-0960 Multipurpose Type Grease.6. Install shaft (3) in roller (2).7. Put 5P-0960 Multipurpose Type Grease on small bearing cone (4) and install it in roller (2). 8. Install washer (4), nut (5) and cotter pin (6) on shaft (3). 9. Install gasket (8) and cover (7) on roller (2).End By:a) install ejector carrier rollers
