Disassembly Procedure
Do not flame cut or weld on painted areas. The effect of gasses from burned paint is a danger to the person doing the cutting or welding.
Illustration 11. Remove (cut off) bottom guard (B) from frame (A). Leave guard to frame rail weld intact.
Do not gouge bottom of frame rail (A). Grind frame rail (A) smooth after removal of bottom guard (B).
Use caution when lifting the bottom guard. The weight of the bottom guard is 350 Kg (770 lbs).
Illustration 22. Remove (cut off) lower section of pull hook (C) from front support tube (E) leaving approximately 51 mm (2 in) (F). Cut front pull hook (C) at 45° (F1). Grind front support tube (E) smooth. The upper portion of pull hook (C), with tapped block (D) is for assembly of radiator plate (chin guards) assemblies.

Do not gouge frame rail (A). Grind frame rail (A) smooth after removal of lower ears (G). After grinding, frame rail (A) and lower ear area (G) should be level as possible.
