Recent reports indicate that the Steering and Transmission Integrated Controls (STIC) may not be operating correctly. The 177-4113 STIC Control Gp may encounter the following issues:
The transmission may not shift directions.
The upshift button is inoperative.
The downshift button is inoperative.
The transmission performs intermittent shifting.Preliminary analysis of field return parts indicates that the ground wire within the 177-4113 STIC Control Gp is breaking due to loose mounting of the Forward Neutral Reverse switch.Solution
Replace the 177-4113 STIC Control Gp with a new 177-4113 STIC Control Gp .
