1. Assemble check valve assemblies (6) and (8) as follows:a. Install valve (1) into body (2).b. Install bolt and washer (4) through spring (3) and into valve (1).c. Install a new O-ring seal on cap (5). Install the cap into body (2), and tighten it to a torque of 75 10 N m (55 7 lb.ft.).2. Install new O-ring seals on check valves (6) and (8). Install the valves into lift valve body (7). Install the valves into lift valve body (7), and tighten them to a torque of 75 10 N m (55 7 lb.ft.). 3. Install new O-ring seals and rings on shuttle valve (9). The two O-ring seals used on the shuttle valve are not the same size. The smaller O-ring seal is at the end of the shuttle valve. Install the rings on either side of the O-ring seals.4. Put clean hydraulic oil on the O-ring seals, and install shuttle valve (9) into lift valve body (7). 5. Assemble and install detent assembly (14) into lift valve body (7) as follows:a. Put spring (11) over retainer (12), and install retainer (10) on the spring with the beveled edge up.b. Use tool (A) to compress spring (11) so the balls can be installed in retainer (12). Use 5P960 Multipurpose Grease to hold the balls in position in retainer (12).c. Slowly release tooling (A) to allow the retainer to engage with the balls.d. Install a new O-ring seal in housing (13).e. Install detent assembly (14) and housing (13) onto valve body (7). 6. Install new O-ring seals on housing (15). 7. Assemble housing assembly (15) and lift valve stem (24) as follows:a. Install bearing (17) into housing (16), assemble seal (18) and ring, and install it on bearing (17).b. Install lever (22), bearing (19), shim (20) and cover (21).c. Install detent (23) and the O-ring seal onto lift valve stem (24).d. Install long retainers (25) and spring (26) onto lift valve stem (24).e. Compress spring (26), and install short retainers that hold it.f. Install lift valve stem assembly (28) into housing (15); then engage the end of lever assembly (29) with the hole in lift valve stem assembly (28). 8. Put clean hydraulic oil on lift valve stem assembly (28), and install it into lift valve body (7).9. Install the two bolts that hold lever (29) to housing (15). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 14 2 N m (10 1 lb.ft.). Use a magnetic base dial indicator to check the end play of the lever. The end play of the lever must be 3.7 2.0 mm (0.15 0.08 in.). Add or subtract shims until the correct end play is obtained. Install the rubber boot. 10. Assemble and install body assembly (36) as follows:a. Install new O-ring seal (33) on body (31).b. Install the O-ring seal and ring (32). Install the O-ring seal so it
