Remove the brake pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston and Vane Pump - Remove".

Mark the pump at points of separation prior to disassembly.
Remove bolts (1) and cover assembly (2).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove spring (5), O-ring seal (3), and plate assembly (4).

Remove ring kit (7) from pump body (6).

Remove pins (9) and rotor kit (8) from ring kit (7).

Remove vanes (10) from rotor kit (8).

Remove O-ring seal (11) from pump body (6).

Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (13) from pump body (6).
Remove shaft (12) from pump body (6).

Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (15) from shaft (12).
Use a suitable press in order to remove bearing (14) from shaft (12).

Remove lip seal (17) from the pump body.
Remove fitting (16) from the pump body, if necessary.
Replace the O-ring seal on fitting (16), if necessary.

Remove fitting (18) from cover assembly (2), if necessary.
Replace the O-ring seal on fitting (18), if necessary.
