(2) Reinforcement plate for the K-pin joint
Clean the area of reinforcement plates (2) in order to remove the following items: paint, oil, grease and debris. Refer to Illustration 6.
Remove the existing weld from point (AG) to point (AH). Remove all slag and dirt. Refer to Illustration 6.

(2) Reinforcement plate for the K-pin joint (4) K-pin joint on the lift arm (W) 20° (X) 10 mm (0.4 inch) (Y) 6 mm (0.24 inch) (Z) 6 mm (0.24 inch)
Locate the plates (2) for the K-pin joints (4). Tack weld the plates (2) into position. Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 7.
Apply a 6 mm (0.24 inch) fillet weld to the plate (2) from point (AG) to point (AH). Refer to Illustration 6 and Illustration 7. Note: Overlap the weld at both ends.
Finish weld the joint from point (AG) to point (AH). The weld should be
