Install the new 163-1155 Suspension Group on the pedestal. Use bolts (6) and screws (9) to secure the suspension system to the pedestal. Refer to Illustration 3 for parts' locations and identification.Before you secure the suspension system to the pedestal, route the wiring harness of the suspension system through the access hole.
Install the 166-5206 Conversion Kit (Swivel) to the seat assembly.
Install the seat assembly and the swivel assembly onto the new suspension system. Use bolts (2) and washers (3) to secure the front of the swivel assembly to the suspension system. Use bolts (4), washers (3), and locknuts (5) to secure the back of the swivel assembly to the suspension system.Refer to Illustration 3 for the parts' locations.

Connect the harness (11) to the harness from the new suspension system. Route the harnesses through the retainers (K) on the pedestal. If the pedestal is missing the retainers, you must use two 7K-1181 Cable Straps to secure the harnesses to the pedestal. Refer to Illustration 4.Note: Some machines come with the harness assembly in place. You will only need to connect the cable assembly from the suspension system to this harness. Do the following installation instructions in order to modify your machine when the harness assembly is not present. Refer to Table 1 for the machines which have this modification.
Remove the side console (J) in order to route the harness assembly (11) to the control panel (I). The side console is located on the right side of the operator's compartment.The harness assembly (11) must be attached to the machine's electrical system under the control panel on the side console.
Route the harness assembly (11) behind the side console to the back of the control panel.

Remove the control panel (I) from the side console (H) .
Locate the wires for the fan switch (P). Refer to Illustration 6.
Locate the connection with two blue wires and two black wires. The blue wires are numbered 122. The black wires are numbered 200. Disconnect these wires by pulling apart the connection (Q) .
Connect the ends (N) of the 152-2911 Harness to the ends (Q) of the wiring for the fan switch. Refer to Illustration 6.
Connect the relay (10) to the holder for the relay (M) .
Secure the 152-2911 Harness to the harness assemblies behind the control panel. Use a 7K-1181 Cable Strap (12) to secure the harness assembly.
Secure the other end of the 152-2911 Harness to the pedestal. Use two 7K-1181 Cable Straps (12) .
Pull any excess length of the 152-2911 Harness behind
